The River Region Chamber of Commerce is largely volunteer-based. Only a combination of the Chamber staff and committed membership volunteers will ensure the Chamber is successful in accomplishing its mission.

Chair: Bub Millet, East Jefferson General Hospital
The Public Policy committee works to stay abreast of legislation and emerging issues that affect business. This group will interface and collaborate with the elected leadership of our member parishes on issues that have impact on the region's business climate.
Chair: Ray Grubbs, Express Employment Professionals
The Ambassadors serve as the face of the Chamber for new members and businesses in the community. They meet and greet new members, participate in ribbon cutting ceremonies, serve at organization functions, and assist with retention efforts.
Business Development: Katie Klibert, Reserve Telecommunications
The Business Development Committee is focused on “value”. Connecting members with business resources through our community partners, this group organizes lunch n learns and business seminars with a focus on small business sustainability.
Workforce Development Committee: Mike Palamone, Urban Systems Associates, LLC
Actively engages in local education systems to strengthen tomorrow's workforce. This group monitors and supports public, private and parochial schools in the River Region by providing a business perspective on education initiatives.
Communications: Jonathan Menard, St. Charles Herald Guide
Strategicaly advises implementation of the Chamber's message in the community. The goal of this group is enhance collaborative efforts to create a true regional workforce development strategy by bridging the gap between skilled workers and demand.
There are two special events groups that provide volunteers for two key fundraisers: Annual Crawfish Boil and Golf Tournament.
