Safe Babysitting Workshop
This workshop is designed for girls and boys age 11 - 13 who want to be "in demand" as dependable, qualified babysitters. Course instructors are: Cynthia Clifton, Extension Agent for St. John Parish, and Mary Lubrano, RN, Director of Quality at River Parishes Hospital. Topics include: characteristics of a great babysitter, ages and stages, behavior and guidance, planning play activities and basic first aid techniques.
A certificate of participation will be awarded at the end of the workshop. Refreshments will be provided. To make a reservation, call (985) 653-1644.
