River Parishes Hospital is hosting a Coming of Age Seminar for girls.  This seminar is designed for girls age 9-12 who a accompanied by a parent or guardian.  This seminar focuses on the physical and emotional journey a young girl goes through during puberty.  Topics to be discussed include: growth and development, menstruation, reproductions, self-esteem and personal hygiene.  Our goal is to create an opportunity for pre-tens and their parents to continue talking about this exciting yet challenging time.
