Darkness to Light Stewards of Children Training

Darkness to Light’s^® Stewards of Children™ is a revolutionary sexual abuse prevention training program that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.  The program believes and teaches that child safety is an adult's job. Stewards of Children™ is designed for organizations that serve children and youth.  


Stewards of Children™ is an award-winning training program which teaches adults how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. This program offers training on the 5 Steps for Protecting Children from child sexual abuse. In addition to prevention training for individuals, the full program package includes tools for organizations that facilitate the development of policies and procedures for sexual abuse prevention. The training will be held at East Regional Library, 160 West Campus Dr., Destrehan, La. 70074   Participants are expected to attend the training in its entirety.
A certificate of completion is awarded for 2 hours of continuing education from the National Association of Social Workers and the National Board for Certified Counselors.
