Louisiana Economic Development has created a web site for companies to register in order to be considered for rebuilding operations and procurement opportunities. Visit and register your company and learn more about the disaster resources and assistance available to your business.
Louisiana Small Business Association
There are ten Business Counciling Center locations open in Louisiana. For information and the nearest location call the SBA Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or check SBA’s website at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance.
In addition, SBA representatives are available at 23 other locations in Louisiana to meet with each resident or business owner affected by Gustav and Ike. At these locations, SBA representatives will meet with each applicant to explain how an SBA low-interest disaster loan can help pay recovery costs, explain the application procedure and help each applicant with completing their disaster loan application.Louisiana call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955, check SBA’s website at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance, or email SBA at disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.
