From: Mike Carren, US Chamber of Commerce Center for Corporate Citizenship
Business to Business Recovery Program
The US Chamber of Commerce and The Center for Corporate Citizenship has launched its Business to Business recovery program and we need your input. In the coming several weeks the Center for Corporate Citizenship will be intaking the needs of local businesses in your area and attempting to match these needs with contributions of materials and services from corporations and businesses across the nation. But to do this we need your help. Please work with businesses in your area to determine needs and submit them to Mike Carren (mcarren@uschamber.com) using the attached form. All needs will be documented and tracked. When materials or services become available, the US Chamber will arrange shipment and delivery with each recipient Chamber on an as needed basis. We will send weekly requests for needs updates from chambers to ensure that we are attempting to meet the most current needs in all areas.
If you know of other chambers affected by Katrina that have not received this message, please feel free to forward it on to them. Please note that requests from individual businesses cannot be tracked effectively unless they clearly identify which chamber they are affiliated with. Needs assessed and submitted by local and state chambers will be given priority in this program.
If you know of potential donors to this program, please direct them to www.aidmatrix.org/uschamber.
Please do not hesitate to submit questions you may have about this program via email.
