The River Region Chamber of Commerce has several advertising opportunities available to our members. Take advantage of special discounts and packages to make the most of your advertising dollars!

Newsletter Advertising

The Chamber’s latest news and communication tool is the Chamber Links! newsletter. Chamber Links! is published quarterly and distributed to businesses throughout the River Parishes. Advertising in the newsletter is an inexpensive way to reach a large audience. Three ad sizes are available:

Front page: $150 per issue
(bottom banner, measures approximately 7''x1'')

Back page: $300 per issue
(half page, measures approximately 51⁄2''x81⁄2'')

Interior Ad: $50 per issue
(business card-sized, measures approximately 31⁄2''x2'')

Website Advertising

Online advertising opportunities are available on the Chamber web site. Reaching thousands of potential customers has never been so easy! In addition, access your online listing for timely updates, post employment opportunities and highlight specials your business is offering. Television Spots

Thought advertising on a broadcast television station was too expensive? Well, think again! The River Region Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with WUPL-TV, WVUE-TV (Fox 8), and WWLTV to create a special members only advertising package that will effectively and affordably deliver your message to a wide audience.

Three packages are available:

Package A – WUPL-TV
Total spots per month: 100 (Mon-Sun, 5am-12am)
Total cost per four-week month: $1200
Average cost per spot: $12

Package B – WVUE-TV (Fox 8)
Total spots per month: 60 (15 Mon-Sun, 12pm-12am; 45 Mon-Sun, 5am-4:59am)
Total cost per four-week month: $3000
Average cost per spot: $50

Package C – WWLTV
Total spots per month: 21 (4 Mon-Fri, 5am-9am; 5 Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm; 4 Mon-Fri 12pm-3pm; 4 Mon-Fri, 3pm-5pm; 4 Mon-Fri, 10:30pm-12am)
Total cost per four-week month: $4800
Average cost per spot: $228.57

In order to take advantage of these packages, each station requires a three month commitment. These rates are only available to Chamber members through the Chamber office.

On-Hold Advertising

No one likes to be put on hold. However, when it’s necessary to do so, use the opportunity to educate about your business and advertise your products and services. The Chamber has several spots available on its on-hold system, produced by Advantage On-Hold. Their team of creative experts will work with you to produce stimulating, informative voice productions, coupled with harmonious music, to represent your company’s image and educate, inspire, and motivate people to call you!
